There is a different virtual machine host in win XP mode stopped on win 7. The new virtual host is called hper-v and though I am not sure I suspect it will not run dos. I am thinking of installing windows 10 from windows 7 On our company computers we are running xp mode under the virtual machine so that we can run one of our old DOS programs, yes I said DOS. Will the virtual machine have to be reloaded and reprogrammed or will the current version of the virtual machine and attributes now installed run seamlessly?
